Fruit Desserts

If you’re looking for some desserts that are naturally sweet and full of flavor, than choose a fruit dessert.  A perfect way to enjoy fresh fruit from the farmer’s market. Don’t worry if it’s not peak fruit season, for most recipes you can substitute frozen fruit.

Fruit desserts are quick and easy to prepare with minimal ingredients. Whether you’re looking for an amazing dessert for a dinner party or summer barbecue, you’ll find 35 + fruit desserts that will impress your friends and family.

Fruit baked into a cobbler, crisp or crumble warm out of the oven and topped with ice cream is hard to beat. You can find some classics like blueberry and blackberry along with peach and rhubarb.

Go with a rustic fruit dessert and make a flaky galette with peaches and rhubarb or a traditional apple. Try wrapping the fruit in pastry for some delicious apple, cherry or raspberry hand pies.

If you're a strawberry lover, you might want to try a slab pie, shortcake, or pretzel parfait and if there are any strawberries left over, I’ll walk you though making homemade jam. Extra blueberries, add them to a buttery scone or wrap them in pastry.

Once the summer fruit is gone, consider making some fabulous desserts with apples like apple dumplings, grilled apples, or an apple cake.
