This creamy Buffalo chicken dip is an all time favorite game day appetizer. With homemade buffalo sauce and ranch dressing, it's a must for any party. Use rotisserie chicken and a quick and easy Buffalo sauce for that "hot wing" taste.

½cupBuffalo Sauce((see below))
½cupwhite cheddar cheese(4 ounces, shredded)
½cupAmerican Cheese(4 ounces, shredded)
½cupFranks original hot sauce
2tablespoonsTexas Pete hot sauce
2teaspoonsApple cider vinegar
Preheat oven to 375º.
Buffalo sauce: In a small saucepan melt butter and add the remaining ingredients. Cook until the brown sugar has dissolved.
Over medium heat, melt butter in a 10 inch oven proof skillet and saute garlic for about 1 minute. Add chicken, buffalo sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes. Reduce heat and add cream cheese cook until melted. Add ranch dressing. Top with cheese or Pour into a 1 quart baking dish and top with cheese.
Bake until the cheese has melted and is bubbly around the edges, about 10 minutes. Turn oven to broil and cook until brown, about 2 minutes.
Barbara's Notes + Tips
You can use cooked chicken breasts instead of rotisserie chicken
This can be made in an iron skillet or glass baking dish
Serve with crackers, chips, celery or carrots
You can re-heat in the microwave or in the oven
Buffalo chicken dip can be prepared in advance, refrigerate and then let come to room temperature before baking
