Grilled Apples

Grilled Apples are an easy and healthy dessert that you can make in about fifteen minutes.  Quicker than baked apples and great with a scoop of ice cream.

  • 2 apples cored and halved
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


  • Heat grill to medium-low.
  • Brush both sides of apple halves with melted butter. Place cut side down on grill and cook for about 5 minutes depending on the type of apple, or until apples have grill marks and are just starting to soften.
  • Turn over so the grill marks are facing up and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Cook until apple softens, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove and serve with ice cream.
