World Famous Waffles
Waffles that are so good, that we call them world famous! Light and fluffy with a buttery taste for a perfect breakfast food. So good you don't even need syrup.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ⅔ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 eggs separated
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 5 tablespoons melted butter
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the milk and stir into the dry ingredients. Add the melted butter and whisk together until smooth.
In a third bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the batter.
