Pancetta adds a nice salty flavor, enhanced by just a drizzle of honey

Great excuse to fall in love with fresh figs!

This is an elegant looking appetizer to serve. 

FILLING –Pancetta –Pecans –Goat cheese –Fresh thyme –Fresh figs –Baguette slices –Butter

Ingredients 

In a small skillet cook the chopped pancetta until browned and remove to paper towel.

Step 1

Slice a baguette into ¼ inch slices and brush both sides with melted butter. Place on one side of a baking sheet.

Step 2

Combine goat cheese, pancetta, pecans and fresh thyme.

Step 3

Cut figs in half and add the goat cheese mixture to the top. Bake until the bread is slightly toasted.

Step 4

Drizzle the crostini's with a bit of honey as they come out of the oven.

Step 5
