Soft tender yeast rolls with or without caramelized onions

– whole milk  – yeast – eggs  – sugar – butter  – bread flour  – gruyere cheese – shallots  – sugar

Caramalized shallots add so much flavor

Leave out the onions for a soft and tender dinner roll

Cook the shallots until they are golden brown

Step 1

Let the dough rise for 1 hour

Step 2

Form into balls and let rise for 1/2 an hour

Step 3

You can refrigerate overnight or bake right away

Step 4

Bake until golden brown

Step 5

A no-fail dinner roll

All you need is butter!
