2tbspbutter
¼cupflour
2cupswhole milk(warmed)
¾tspsalt
½tspblack pepper
⅛tspcayenne pepper
Instructions
Warm the milk in the microwave.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium meat. Add flour and whisk until combined, cook for about 1 minute. Slowly add warmed milk whisking constantly until it has thickened, about 3-5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and cayenne.
