What you'll need

Using a food processor to create a shaggy dough makes it easier. 

Step 1

Handle the dough as little as possible and cut the dough into sections. 

Step 2

Next step is to stack the layers.

Step 3

Stacking and re-stacking the dough creates lots of flaky layers. Use really cold ingredients and keep your warm hands off the dough as much as possible.


Roll the dough to a 1" thickess and use a round biscuit cutter, cutting straight down. No twisting. 

Step 4

Try adding some flaky salt and pepper to the top.
