Line an ungreased jelly roll pan with graham crackers, breaking into small pieces to line the outside depending on the size of your pan.

Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan until it boils. Allow to boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.

Pour over graham crackers, spreading to coat. Sprinkle pecans over the top.
