Apples and Blackberries make a great combination!

– Flour – Sugar – Salt – Butter – Rolled oats – Blackberries – Apples – Pecans

Ingredients for  2 Fruit Crumble with oats

Prepare the topping in your food processor. If you don't have one, you can work it together with your hands.  

Step 1

Combine the fruits together in a mixing bowl and prepare the filling. 

Step 2

Spread the fruit filling in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Using your hands, form the topping into large clumps and scatter over the fruit.

Step 3

Bake until the apples are bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Serve it warm, either with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of caramel would be nice!

Recipe Tip

This dessert is best used with fresh fruits. If you use fruit from a can or pie filling, the result will most likely be an overly sweet dessert with a gummy topping that doesn’t end up with a crunchy baked top.
