– Thick sliced bacon
– Vidalia onion
– Peaches
– Dark brown sugar

Step 1
Cook the bacon cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon onto a paper towel lined plate.
Step 2
Using just a bit of bacon grease, soften the onions and add in the diced peaches along with seasonings.
Step 3
Remove from heat and either can or freeze what you’re not going to eat. Serve at room temperature.
Should you eat bacon jam warm or cold?
If it has been refrigerated, warm it slightly in the microwave or let it come to room temperature before serving.
How to serve bacon jam
Bacon Jam is both sweet and salty so it can go with so many things. We first tried this with goat cheese on a crostini. Add to a burger or grilled cheese.
