It’s a make ahead meal that just gets better in the fridge

Great for cookouts or picnics

– Shrimp – Old Bay Seasoning – Lemons & Lemon juice – Vidalia onion – Parsley – Bay leaves

Step 1

Bring your water to a rolling boil and cook your shrimp JUST 2 minutes. Immediately add to an ice bath. 

Step 2

Whisk together the marinade in a mixing bowl. 

Step 3

Layer the shrimp, garlic, onion, bay leaves parsley and 6 of the lemon halves. Pour the dressing over the top and stir to combine it together before covering with plastic wrap.

Step 4

Put that bowl into the fridge and forget about it for about 24 hours. 

Recipe Tip

This shrimp with lemon has so much flavor that you won’t need cocktail sauce. To make it a bit more interesting, add some cayenne, hot sauce or fresh jalapeños to the mixture.

What to serve with it

Broccoli salad goes great with shrimp if you want to make it a complete meal!
