– Chuck roast – vegetable oil – onion  – celery –  flour – tomato paste –  garlic  – fresh thyme –  red wine –  beef broth – Yukon gold potatoes – carrots – leaves –  cornstarch

INGREDIENTS 

Brown the roast to seal in the juices

Step 1

Soften the onions and celery

Step 2

Add flour and seasoning

Step 3

Add red wine & broth

Step 4

Add to slow cooker with carrots and potatoes

Step 5

Cook for 8 hours

Step 6

Remove any fat and make the gravy

Step 7
