What to Wear in Disney/Universal

I am back from vacation and thought I would do a gear post. I haven’t done one for awhile so I am showing off my new favorite gear, lululemon’s running skirt.  I normally run in compression shorts but Kate at the lululemon shop in Greensboro suggested I try a running skirt.  While super cute with the pleats in the back, I wasn’t convinced I would like running in it.  I was so surprised how comfortable it was on a long run. It is now my favorite thing to run in. The inner short doesn’t move while running and the lightweight material makes it cool on hot summer days.  So what does this have to do with Disney you might ask.

Going to Disney in July may not be the best idea, but with school schedules sometimes you just have to go when it’s blistering hot. Since it was expected to be in the high 90’s in Florida last week, I thought I would try wearing my cute running skirts to the theme parks. The lightweight fabric and wicking made these the perfect choice if you are going to be out in the sun, running or not.  Since it’s a skirt, it’s stylish and functional.  The one with pleats is probably meant for tennis, as it has the pocket for extra balls but the pink one doesn’t.  I think this style is even cooler than the one with pleats as it has mesh on the skirt. While everyone else was hot and sticky, my running gear kept me cool, well as cool as you can be in 97º.Barbara in a White Running Skirt at Disney

I have lots of running gear, but I always end up picking my lululemon gear for its function, comfort and style.  We only have a test store in Greensboro with limited hours, but I am hoping we get a full store in the future.  I am certainly doing my part!
